Sandy

Hurricane Sandy devastated my city. The day after the hurricane, I walked from my apartment in Harlem to Wall St. to check out the damage and the vibe downtown. Uptown was relatively normal, while downtown was a ghost town. I walked down the FDR, and went into a devastated subway station on 14th and 1st. Creepy and sad.

Harlem Shambles

I got to shoot behind the scenes at Harlem Shambles, a local butcher shop uptown (and I'm a vegetarian..). How nastily awesome?

Occupy Wall Street - 10.6.11

After finishing up with a client downtown, I made my way to the Occupy Wall Street protests that are still in full force. I saw some amazingly beautiful people full of peace yet hungry for just actions. There were a few incidents while I was there in which Wall Streeters cursed the protesters, but all in all, it was a really incredibly display of creativity.
